ARUNDHATI ROY
Arundhati Roy shot to international fame with her very first novel, The God of Small Things, which won the Booker Prize for the year 1997. Before she took up writing, she wrote screenplays for television and films, her most successful feature film being Electric Moon. She also acted in two films In Which Annie Gives It Those Ones and Massey Sahib.
