Vishnu Prabhakar  

Vishnu Prabhakar (b. 1912) has written several short stories, novels, plays and travelogues in Hindi. He won the Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel, Ardhanarishwara. His Awara Masiha, which is a biography of the eminent Bengali novelist Saratchandra Chatterjee, is considered as one of the three best Hindi biographies written so far.
