Maqbool Shah Kralawari (1820-1876) is considered as the finest lyricist of the 19th century Kashmir. His works like Malanam and Grisynama are noted for the social issues raised by them. His Gulrez is one of the best masnavis (descriptive poem) of the 19th century.
